SNP leader’s new drive to split from UK
NICOLA Sturgeon will today outline plans to hold a second independence referendum for Scotland.
The First Minister is to explain how a vote could take place in October next year with or without the formal consent of No10.
Boris Johnson has repeatedly insisted he will not give another referendum the go-ahead.
Ahead of an address to the Scottish Parliament, Ms Sturgeon claimed the Government is trying to deny the “democratic right” of Scottish people to choose their future.
Her spokesman insisted any referendum would be held legally.
