Garcia: I won’t get court out by British fans
BY MIKE WALTERS CAROLINE GARCIA warned Emma Raducanu she will not fear a partisan Centre Court, saying: “It’s part of the deal.”
The French former top-10 big hitter won her third tournament on grass in Germany at the weekend, and arrived late in London before beating Britain’s Yuriko Miyazaki to earn a tilt at the US Open champion. Garcia (right) said: “Most of the time in tennis British people are ‘nice’. They want the British player to win, but are still fair and respectful.”
