Titanic star’s message gag on Alice
THE estranged wife of Titanic star Ioan Gruffudd has been slapped with a threeyear restraining order banning her from mentioning him on social media.
It is the latest twist in what has been called as the “most bitter split in Hollywood history”.
Actress Alice Evans had used Instagram and Twitter to level countless accusations at the Welsh star, now with his actress girlfriend.
The order, which adds conditions to an existing order, also bars Evans, 54, from leaking private text messages from their children – Ella, 12, and Elsie, eight.
The order, which was sought by Gruffudd, says Evans should not make posts on any social media account, “including but not limited to Instagram and Twitter, disparaging or harassing [Gruffudd] or the other protected person”.
The other person was listed as 48-year-old Gruffudd’s new partner Bianca Wallace, 29.
Sources say Gruffudd hopes the new court-enforced restrictions will end their toxic public feud.
He saw a Los Angeles judge grant the Domestic Violence Restraining Order. Evans was not present.
Last month the Mirror reported on Gruffudd’s claims that Evans had mocked his hairline and wrinkles.
He made the allegations in papers filed with Los Angeles Superior Court months after Evans had demanded sole custody of their girls.
Gruffudd, who was seeking joint custody, claimed Evans had tried to stop him communicating with the children.
He went on to say Evans had been verbally abusive during their marriage and had undermined him in front of the girls adding: “Alice made fun of my appearance often, making hair-loss comments and telling me I had ‘saggy-vagina eyes.”
He went on to claim Evans “inflicted serious emotional harm on Ella and Elsie by her statements and by interfering in my relationship with them.”
Gruffudd and Evans were married for 14 years. During their acrimonious split in January 2021, Evans accused her husband of cheating with Wallace. Gruffudd later confirmed the relationship on Instagram.
