‘I’ll defend rights till I die’

-

ANGELA Rayner has pledged to defend workers’ rights “so long as I have a breath left in my body”.

The Labour deputy leader criticised government plans to strip away protections for workers and vowed to reverse all anti-strike laws imposed by the Tories. Labour would introduce a “fair work” standard to improve conditions, she said. Ms Rayner added: “Be in no doubt, they are coming after the most basic things we expect. Decent work, fair pay. The foundations of a family life.”
