Our greatest obsession is the weather
TALKING about the weather is Britain’s biggest obsession, a poll found.
Discussing football was second, followed by moaning about traffic.
Fourth was wanting the sun to come out, then complaining it is too hot.
And the top five was rounded off by queueing.
The poll to find our top 30 was carried out to mark Sky HISTORY show Britain’s Greatest Obsession, on which celebrities discuss British passions.
Actress Liza Tarbuck said: “Weather is everything. It governs daily choices, food, mood and history – everything.”
