MY AMAZING ARTWORK

-

It was hard to imagine Sir David Jason playing anybody other than Del Boy back in the golden age of telly, but the legendary actor went on to find his true calling as a grumpy detective with a hatred of paperwork in A Touch Of Frost.

His character is vividly brought to life here by amateur artist Colin Green.

The 75-year-old from Grantham, Lincolnshire, says: “I’ve dabbled in drawing and painting over the years and when I saw this image of David Jason as Frost in a TV magazine, I decided to paint it in watercolours.

“It’s not perfect but I think it captures his mood at the time.” Calling all artists, photographers and crafters – send snaps of your work to siobhan.mcnally@mirror.co.uk and don’t forget to include a selfie, your age and location, and tell us what inspires you.
