Four parfect holes-in-one

AN amateur golfer has defied odds of 10 billion/1 to bag four holes-in-one in a single year.

The odds of an ace are 12,500/1 and Hugh Barrett, 63, scored his in January, May and September before a fourth on October 1.

The Leeds dad-of-three, who plays at Headingley Golf Club, has even been praised by the son of his late idol Seve Ballesteros.

Speaking about his seventh ace in total, Hugh said: “It was surreal... an unbelievable feeling.”
