Tobias Ellwood, chair of the Defence Select Committee, told Parliament last week:

“If there was medical informatio­n that was withheld that could actually have an impact on treatment, diagnosis, or indeed compensati­on, if anyone could have access to this, or even today have access to this, it could be a criminal offence.” Defence Secretary Ben Wallace confirmed:

“It would be deeply wrong to withhold from ministers, or anyone else, evidence, and if anybody has any evidence they should put it before us.”
