Brexit backer boss: Bring in workers now
THE Brexit-supporting chief of fashion giant Next has called for more foreign workers to be let in.
Tory peer Lord Wolfson told the BBC: “We have people queuing up to come to this country.”
He claimed crops are rotting and warehouses aren’t operable yet workers are not being admitted.
He added: “We have to take a different approach to economically productive migration.
“Yes, control it where it’s damaging to society but let people in who can contribute.”
A Government spokesman insisted: “We continue to bring in key workers and also use the schemes which bring in the workforce our farmers and growers need.”
