Good news for any Two Doors Down

fans worried that Britain’s best sitcom (which really should be on BBC1 prime time by now) might suffer from the departure of Doon Mackichan’s hard-drinking and forthright Cathy.

Because if Wednesday’s hilarious opener was a taster of things to come, it might be even better without her.

Cathy will still be totally missed though. I said missed.
