Scot romp sees Wales into semis
WALES will face
England in the semifinals of the Wheelchair
Rugby League World Cup after they qualified with a comfortable 70-36 victory over Scotland.
Wales dominated throughout with four tries from Andrew Higgins (right), three from
Scott Trigg-Turner, two each for Harry Jones and Martin
Lane and one for Gary Preece.
John Willans’ effort, a Mike Mellon brace and four tries from Dan Grant were all in vain as Scotland exited without registering a win.
Higgins said: “I can’t wait for the semi-finals. It’s going to be amazing.”
France will face Australia in the other semi after beating the USA 116-6.
