HE’S LIN THE MOOD
JESSE LINGARD admits he has underachieved at Nottingham Forest but wants his cup heroics to kick-start good times at the City Ground.
The ex-England star (right), 29, scored his first goal and got a first assist for the club since moving from Manchester United in the summer in Wednesday’s 2-0 Carabao Cup win against Tottenham.
He said: “It’s been a long time coming, I’ve not hit the heights I wanted to. It’s taken this long to finally settle in, but it’ll give me a lot of confidence.”
