SHOULDER SETBACK A NEW BLOW FOR DOM

- BY JOHN CROSS

DOMINIC CALVERT-LEWIN has suffered another injury blow after missing out on the England World Cup squad.

Calvert Lewin (above) picked up a hamstring injury in the defeat to Leicester last weekend.

But the Everton striker now needs to see a specialist to assess a shoulder injury which has hampered recent performances for Everton. He dislocated his shoulder in his first start of the season against Newcastle on October 19, with the joint popping out and back in again. Everton boss Frank Lampard revealed the 25-year-old will see doctors this week to assess the extent of the issue. Calvert-Lewin is now set to miss tomorrow’s league game at Bournemouth.
