On pause to salute dead

-

ROYALS, veterans, City slickers and workmen all stop to pay their respects to our war dead.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were among those who fell silent at 11am at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire yesterday.

And as Camilla, the Queen Consort, laid a wreath at Westminster Abbey, events were held across the country to mark Armistice Day. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak tweeted: “We will remember them.”
