Missing cat’s massive trek to old haunt
A CAT walked 280 miles to its old home after its owners moved, only being found 13 months later.
Roving feline Cocci weighed just 1kg when she was discovered resting under a car by a couple.
They posted her picture on missing animal website Pet Alert, much to owner Laetitia De Amicis’s relief.
She sent stunned dad Bernard back to the Grand Est region of north-east France to identify Cocci.
And it turned out the moggy had made it from Ginai, in Normandy, to within 10 miles of her old stomping ground in Ambly-sur-Meuse.
Laetitia, 41, said: “When my dad called me, I was with my daughter. She looked at Cocci and burst into tears. I was crying too. I still can’t believe it.”
