B iG T*** Thursday

-

It’s not just I’m a Celeb that has its share of venomous creatures.

Children’s author, “beloved” funnyman and Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams has been left looking more snakey than an anaconda.

For despite his perennial Cheshire cat smile for the BGT cameras, it turns out he’s been secretly spewing bile about contestants to his fellow judges.

In newly-unearthed recordings from 2020, Walliams is allegedly heard calling an elderly man the C-word (not the cockerel-related one, the one which is anatomically incorrect).

Then he allegedly, and repeatedly, laughed at a woman for being sexually unattractive (using language unsuitable for a family newspaper).

Walliams has since apologised, but – in a defence even OJ Simpson’s lawyers may consider controversial

– he also made a point of saying they were “private conversations”, “never intended to be shared”.

Oh! Sorry Dave! That makes it alright then. I mean, if you didn’t mean for us to hear it, perhaps we’re the ones being mean for exposing you as primetime TV’s answer to Mean Girls’ Regina George.

So let’s make it fair and share what Brits have been privately saying about you. I didn’t have time to do an extensive survey, but I’d say the split’s something like this: 99% of the British public: “What a... rooster.”

James Corden: “Bet he would have given that waiter what for...”
