After vandals swiped her Queen’s RIP topper from a post box in Bristol, Judy McIntosh has braved the streets of Sea Mills again with her Remembrance tribute.
She says, “It was particularly annoying to lose the Royal one. I was going to use the red, white and blue base for the Coronation next year. Now I’ll have to start over again!
“I’m hoping my ‘Tommy’ doesn’t go AWOL this time!”
She adds, “Whenever I see footage of the wars, I am amazed that any of them came home.
“Luckily for me, my dad survived – or I wouldn’t be here to knit my toppers!”
