Air update

Release your inner Sean Bean with a “proper brew” at 35,000ft on Jet2 flights. The carrier has partnered with Yorkshire Tea to become the first UK airline to serve the cuppas – advertised on TV by everyone’s favourite Sheffield actor – aboard flights from its 10 bases.

Served in the brand’s plantbased red cups, the £2.90 tea is part of the new in-flight menu, which also debuts Pizza Twists in margherita and pepperoni flavours, a new vegan and glutenfree snack box and the return of the ploughman’s snack box after requests from passengers.

A Yorkshire Tea spokesman said: “We’re chuffed to be partnering with Jet2.com so passengers can enjoy a proper brew in the comfort of their seats, wherever they’re travelling.”
