YOUNG GUNS FOR FINAL

- BY DAVE CRAVEN

DOM YOUNG is loving life in the fast lane as England bid to nail a World Cup final spot.

The Newcastle Knights flier (right) has been one of the stars of the tournament.

He featured in the latest edition of world-famous men’s magazine GQ after scorching in for nine tries and how hopes to light up the Emirates Stadium in today’s semi-final against Samoa.

Young said: “My life’s changed a bit, but I’ve just been enjoying playing alongside my friends more. “Everyone involved with the sport knows how good it is, so if I can help push it into new audiences, that’s good for the game.” Samoa, having already seen hooker Danny Levi fly home for family reasons, have now lost former Kiwi forward Martin Taupau to an injury suffered in Sunday’s quarterfinal win over Tonga.
