Hugo stand riles French
HUGO LLORIS is on a collision course with the French FA over his plans to wear an anti-discrimination armband at the World Cup.
Noel Le Graet, president of the French federation, wants his country to
“focus on football”.
But the defending champs are among 10 European teams taking part in the planned OneLove antidiscrimination campaign, against Qatar’s laws forbidding homosexuality.
Tottenham keeper Lloris (above) is among the captains set to take a stand.
However, Le Graet said: “We’re going to discuss it but I’d rather he doesn’t do it.”
