MICHAEL CARRICK’S Middlesbrough players had better shape up – or risk being embarrassed by the gaffer.

The new Boro boss is pounding the streets to prepare for a challenge in aid of his own charitable foundation, running 5k every day in December.

He said: “I enjoy doing it for my mind and well-being.”

Boro head to Norwich having won their last two away games, and Carrick said: “We’re in a good place right now.”
