It’s a Sunday to remember
IT was the warmest Remembrance Sunday on record in England, Wales and Scotland.
The Welsh town of Porthmadog was the nation’s hotspot, enjoying a high of 21.2C.
While Bridgefoot in Cumbria bathed in 19.2C and Aviemore in the Scottish Highlands recorded a new high of 17.2C.
The Met Office said: “It’s been an exceptionally mild day for most of us and the warmest Remembrance Sunday on record.”
