BEN EARL hailed his Saracens side after their remarkable recovery to beat Northampton. Leaders Saracens looked down and out when they trailed by 22 points to a rampant Saints after 52 minutes. Man of the match and Sarries skipper Earl (above) said: “Everything seemed to be against us and to get the win was a testament to our resilience and team spirit.”
Sean Maitland crossed twice for the hosts, while Gareth Simpson, Josh Hallett, Earl and Elliot Daly claimed the others.
Fraser Dingwall scored a hat-trick of tries for Saints, with Mike Haywood and Courtney Skosan also touching down.
