West Ham have suffered nine defeats in their first 15 league games this season, only suffering more losses at this stage of a top-flight campaign once before (10 in 1976-77).

Leicester have won three Premier League away games in a row without conceding for the first time since November 2019 (also beating Wolves 4-0 and Everton 2-0).

West Ham have lost four of their eight home Prem games this season (W3 D1), just one fewer than they suffered in the whole of last season (5 in 19 games). Leicester’s James Maddison has been directly involved in 23 Premier League goals in 2022 (14 goals, 9 assists), with only Harry Kane (34), Kevin De Bruyne (29) and Heung-Min Son (25) managing more.

West Ham’s Lukasz Fabianksi has saved three of the last four penalties he has faced in the Prem. And overall, only David James (13) and Thomas Sorensen (12) have saved more than the Polish keeper (11) in the competition’s history. Youri Tielemans failed to score with a penalty for the first time in eight attempts for Leicester. Leicester’s Harvey Barnes has 18 Prem goal involvements in 2022 (10 goals 8 assists), only four other Englishmen have more (Kane 34, Maddison 23, Toney 23, Saka 19).
