Sun at dawn ‘cuts cancer’

-

GETTING just 30 seconds of sunlight every morning could slash the chances of developing cancer by up to 80%, research shows.

Near-infrared light at dawn prompts the body to release a flood of natural antioxidant melatonin.

Half a minute of NIN exposure could reduce the cancer risk rate from 50% to 10%, a study found.

Dr Mohammad Muneeb Khan, from Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham, East Yorks, said it may be the “ultimate detox”.
