Itchin’ for Minchin

Tim Minchin is back with a second series of Upright – hurrah! Three years after the first one aired on Sky, he returns as washed-up rock star Lucky, along with misfit teen Meg (played by Milly Alcock).

Set in the Aussie outback, this eight-part series sees the pair hit the road for Queensland.

Minchin says: “Season one was really about Lucky and going home to his mum. It was the classic odd couple story in that they saved each other. Season two is Meg’s journey, and it’s Meg’s mission.”
