England 1 Norway 1
ELLIE ROEBUCK’S late error meant England were held by 10-player Norway as they signed off a historic year.
The Lionesses goalkeeper missed an 80th-minute clearance, allowing Arsenal’s Frida Maanum to level, after England had controlled the contest in Spain.
A new-look Lionesses side took the lead through Rachel Daly (above) when she glanced home Chloe Kelly’s inch perfect cross in the 33rd minute.
Sarina Wiegman made five changes and her team controlled the first half with Nikita Parris and Lauren James going close.
Norway wing-back Anja Sonstevold saw red in the secondhalf, after a pair of fouls on Parris earned her two yellow cards.
England looked on course for an 18th win of the year until Norway’s leveller, but the Lionesses are 26 games unbeaten under Wiegman.
