RISHI POLL LIFT EQUALITY CALL
THE Tories have enjoyed a 6% poll boost under Rishi Sunak but Labour’s support remains unchanged, a survey seen by the Mirror reveals.
The uplift came from who people who either said they would not vote or were a “don’t know”.
Analysis of the Focaldata polls suggested “the vast bulk of undecideds are more likely to vote Tory at the next election than any other party”.
SOME 72% of voters believe the Government is only interested in helping the richest in society, and 58% of them had voted Tory in 2019.
Jennifer Nadel, of think-tank Compassion in Politics, which held the poll, urged the Government to prove it “cares equally for everyone” in today’s statement, by introducing fairer tax and a minimum wage rise.
