Ads get a new dimension

A GIANT trainer looms over Christmas shoppers, showing off the next generation of high-tech adverts.

Vivid teddy bears also appear in the ad, and seem about to fall from the billboard on to the pavement.

The 3D display at Piccadilly Circus, in Central London, is advertisin­g trainers for retailer JD Sports. The DeepScreen tech achieves a stunning 3D effect without glasses or a headset.

It’s certainly a world away from the blinking lights of old which once thrilled shoppers passing the Eros statue.

Nadia Kokni, of JD Sports, said: “We wanted to push the boundaries with dynamic experience­s.”
