VOLVO’S SAFE ELECTRIC BET

This is the new Volvo EX90, which was revealed in downtown Stockholm last week.

A fully electric seven-seater with a range of 373 miles, the newcomer will be packed with technology and safety systems (of course it will be, it’s a Volvo).

The first EX90s to go on sale will feature a twin electric motor powertrain with a combined power output of 517bhp. Presumably less powerful versions will follow on later. Less powerful and cheaper.

On that front there’s no word on pricing yet but I’m guessing a five-figure number starting with a six is likely.
