Save lives, not reputations says drug-death girl’s mum
THE mum of a girl who died after taking ecstasy says youths must prioritise saving a life over escaping justice.
Lila-Grace Smith, 17, died after taking the class-A drug in June.
It is believed those at a sleepover with her delayed calling an ambulance for two hours.

Emma Hargreaves, 40, said: “If you are with your friends taking drugs, and one of them seems slightly off, ring an ambulance or get help straight away. “Instead of worrying about how they might get into trouble, they need to worry about how they might be saving a life.”
Emma, of Keighley, West Yorks, and Lila-Grace’s dad Campbell Smith, 41, thought her friend’s parents were home. No one has been charged.
