Wax on... wax off?
ENGLAND stars show off their newly smooth legs.
Defenders John Stones, 28, Ben White, 25, Kieran Trippier, 32, and Kyle Walker, 32, were spotted training at the Al Wakrah sports club near Doha with hairless shins and thighs.
They are following in the footsteps of England legend Gary Lineker, the tournament’s top scorer at Mexico ’86.
After Real Madrid player Marco Asensio missed a match due to an infected pimple because he shaved his legs in 2017, Lineker, now 61, quipped: “Never would’ve happened in my day, we waxed.”
Our defenders were seen next to Man City star Jack Grealish, 27, whose legs seemed to be untouched.
Forward Grealish may be planning fewer sliding tackles, which players think are aided by smooth legs, a study by website Get Hyped found.
Some players also say shin pads feel more comfortable on shaved legs.
