Explosives at the Nord Stream site
TRACES of explosives have been discovered at the site in the Baltic Sea where the two Nord Stream pipelines were damaged.
Nord Stream 1 carried Russian gas to Germany until Moscow cut supplies in August. Nord Stream 2 never entered service.
The damage hiked up gas prices in Europe.
Swedish experts found “traces of explosives and several foreign objects” when they inspected the site.
Russia denies being behind the explosions blaming “a sabotage or a terrorist act”.
