Wills’ virtual jet set
PRINCE William touched down at an air base yesterday to see the latest work that helps keep Typhoon jets in the air.
During his visit, the Prince of Wales, 40, tested out an “amazing” virtual reality headset, which allows plane maintenance to be carried out more efficiently.
William, who was a Search and Rescue pilot, also learned about a billion-pound upgrade of air traffic control radar services and opened a boxing club at RAF Coningsby, Lincs, before hugging children who had queued to meet him.
