Rugby league legend Kevin smashes marathon target
RUGBY league legend Kevin Sinfield smashed the target of his epic ultramarathon challenge on its penultimate day by raising more than £780,000.
The ex-Great Britain and England star is running seven ultramarathons in just seven days to raise funds for research into motor neurone disease.

CHALLENGE Kevin Sinfield and ex-Leeds Rhinos teammate Rob Burrow, 40, who has MND. Sinfield, 42, now a coach with rugby union club Leicester Tigers, is due to finish his 300-mile challenge today at the Rugby League World Cup final at Old Trafford. He had hoped to raise £777,777 for MND charities, a nod to the number seven shirt worn by Rob. But Kevin hinted that this may be his last ultra-gruelling challenge, saying: “I’ll look to give my knees a bit of a break.”
