Can’t make it to Qatar? Find a home crowd & watch the World Cup on a big screen
THERE might be a beer ban in Qatar, but we have no such worries at home as venues pull out all the stops for footie fans.
The World Cup is just hours away – with host nation Qatar taking on Ecuador tomorrow.
We’re in for almost two weeks of glorious international football, and venues all over the UK will be getting into the tournament spirit.
Local pubs are of course fans’ usual favourite place to watch a game and soak up the atmosphere and this World Cup is no different.
But other places are also getting in on the action. Vue cinemas nationwide will be offering a different kind of big-screen entertainment from Monday, when England play Iran.
Here are a selection of other venues showing the games – ranging from big fan zones and arenas to quirky and cool bars.
