MY AMAZING ARTWORK

-

A serious message underlies this beautiful oil painting called Pollution. The Past, Present and Future by Ian Brook.

The campaigning artist, who lives in Brighton, East Sussex, says: “I’m too old to join the Just Stop Oil protesters and have no head for heights to climb bridges, but maybe my art can help.

“Over 100 years of industrial waste has plagued the habitats of trumpeter swans.

“In my painting, the swans are reluctant to enter the water but have no choice as they need to survive.

“They once numbered 100,000 but are now a fraction of that figure. If we carry on like this, the same will happen to our children.”
