BORN: September 3, 1974, in Welsh village of Llwynypia, Mid Glamorgan ROB PAGE began his professional career as a defender with Watford in 1993 before going on to play for Sheffield United, Cardiff, Coventry, Huddersfield and Chesterfield.
HONOURS
- Second Division title with Watford 1997/1998
- Promotion from First Division with Watford via play-offs in 1999.
INTERNATIONAL CAREER
WON the first of his 41 caps in 1996 and played until 2005 when he described captaining Wales to a 2-0 victory over Hungary as the pinnacle of his international career.
MANAGEMENT
- July 2014 appointed as Port Vale assistant manager
- September 2014 caretaker boss at Port Vale then given the job full-time
- May 2016 leaves Vale to become Northampton manager
- January 2017 becomes first team coach at Nottingham Forest after being sacked by the Cobblers
- March 2017 takes over as Wales Under-21 boss
- August 2019 promoted to join Ryan Giggs’ staff as first team coach
- November 2020 becomes Wales interim head coach
- April 2021 assumes the role of Wales’ national team manager for Euros where his side reach the last 16
- June 2022 Wales beat Ukraine 1-0 to qualify via a play-off for their first World Cup finals since 1958
- September 2022 Page signs new four-year contract to manage Wales after reaching Qatar.
