Dad’s agony over blaze horror girls
THE father of two little girls killed by a fire told of his grief after he flew back from the US yesterday.
Aboubacarr Drammeh, 40, is the dad of girls aged one and three who died after the blaze in a flat on Sunday morning.
He said at the scene in Clifton, Nottingham: “This is just so upsetting.
“I haven’t started to come to terms with what has happened.”
Mr Drammeh was then heading to a hospital to see wife Fatoumatta Hydara, 28, fighting for her life after inhaling smoke.
Neighbour Steven Davies, 54, said: “I saw the police drag out little ones. The smoke was terrible.”
Police are questioning a man, 31, arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
