Life after Tom
Wanted singer’s widow in new love
THE Wanted singer Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey has found love again.
The mother-of-two was devastated to lose Tom to brain cancer in March aged 33, and admitted she had been finding life difficult without him.
But in September, Kelsey, 32, met electrician Sean Boggans, 39, who had recently split from his wife, while on holiday in Greece. Kelsey was not put off by Sean’s past – he served four years for manslaughter after killing a man with one punch in a row outside a pub.
Kelsey recently spoke about how much life had changed since she lost Tom, the father of her daughter Aurelia Rose, three, and son Bodhi, two.
She said: “Evenings are so tough because the kids go to bed and then it’s just me. That’s the time you speak to your partner, you gossip and you talk and I don’t have that any more.”
She went with Sean to his relative’s wedding last month, where reports claimed they looked “loved up”.
It comes ahead of Kelsey’s new ITV documentary series Life After Tom, during which she puts on a charity event to mark what would have been Tom’s 34th birthday. His pal, TOWIE’s Arg, is enlisted to sing at the event.
Tom died from stage four glioblastoma brain cancer, surrounded by his friends and family.
Kelsey, who he dated from 2009 and got married to in 2018, has been fundraising for charities in his name ever since. Earlier this month, she did a fiveday trek across the Sahara Desert for a breast cancer charity.
Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom begins on December 1 on ITVBe.
It will follow Kelsey trying out methods to cope with grief, including “death cafes” and “grief yoga”.
Amanda Stavri, ITV’s commissioning editor for reality said: “We are privileged to have Kelsey bravely share her experience. Kelsey has allowed cameras into her home to follow her very own personal journey with grief, in the hope it helps others.”
