Tributes to fatal crowd crash teens
TWO teens killed when a sports car hit spectators have been remembered for their “hearts of gold”.
Liberty Charris, 16, and 19-year-old Ben Corfield died at a “cruising” event – where drivers show off fast cars – on Sunday.
Liberty’s family recalled her “heart of gold, bright blue eyes and beaming smile” in a statement.
They added: “Your aim in life was to make everyone happy.”
Ben’s family said: “He was a larger-than-life character with a huge heart that was made of gold.”
A man and a woman in their 20s are fighting for their lives after being hit by a Nissan Skyline in Oldbury, West Mids.
A 54-year-old man was arrested, then later released on bail.
