VLADIMIR Putin plans to brainwash Russian pupils with his own twisted version of the war in Ukraine.
And the President’s propaganda blitz comes as millions face freezing to death this winter as a result of his strikes on vital energy infrastructure.
History books and curricula will now cover the Kremlin’s “special military operation” – and sources claim Kyiv and the West will be portrayed as having provoked the conflict.
Exams on the subject for pupils aged 17 and 18 start on December 11. Russian Federal Education Service head Anzor Muzaev said: “After altering the curriculum it was necessary to change assignments and history textbooks.”
It comes amid warnings of rolling blackouts in Ukraine as temperatures dip
below freezing. President Volodymyr Zelensky claims over half of the nation’s energy facilities have been blitzed. The World Health Organisation says millions face a “lifethreatening” winter and Kyiv is evacuating people from the Kherson and Mykolaiv areas. Sergey Kovalenko, of energy firm DTEK Yasno, said blackouts will last “until at least the end of March”.
