Thank Gloria for Sam’s fighting voice
Beyonce once revealed she has an internal alter ego she calls Sasha Fierce, who she channels when she’s going on stage.
And Sam Smith, it turns out, has one too: Gloria.
“There’s a fighter voice in all of us and you’ve just got to look after that,” the singer tells Michelle Visage’s Rule Breakers. “I’ve called that voice inside me Gloria. It’s like a voice in my head that just says ‘you can do it’.”
Sam’s new album and tour are called Gloria, in honour of that inspirational voice.
