Dragons’ Den star Deborah Meaden urged business owners facing tough times to “just move forward”.

Speaking at the CBI annual conference in Birmingham, and with many firms battling soaring costs and now a recession, she said: “Bad things happen, things go wrong.” She added it was how businesses responded that mattered.
