Mum’s tears as dying stab lad is treated
THE mum of a teenage boy who was stabbed to death wept as paramedics tried to save him in the street, witnesses claim.
Kyle Hackland, 17, was knifed near an alleyway at 11.30am on Tuesday before being airlifted to hospital, where he died later that day.
One witness said: “His mum was standing at the cordon when the ambulance was giving him first aid and trying to save him.”
Kyle’s family paid tribute, saying: “Life will never be the same without him, we are completely broken.”
Other locals in Withington, Manchester, said they live in fear of gangs of youths who “try to intimidate” them and have called for CCTV to be installed.
Police have launched a murder investigation.
