Pit museum pay row win
A DISPUTE involving workers at the National Coal Mining Museum for England has ended after a pay row was resolved.
Unison members, including ex-mineworkers who give tunnel tours at the former colliery in Wakefield, West Yorks, have won a pay rise of up to 10.5%, the union said.
Unison official Sam Greenwood added: “Staff took a stand and have a rise that goes some way towards helping them through the cost of living.”
