PANTHERS GET COREY ROARING IN
COREY NEILSON is on his way back to Nottingham in a shock Elite League return.
Neilson, 46, spent 12 seasons with the Panthers – two as a player and the rest of his spell as coach.
He won 11 major trophies – the Continental Cup, six Challenge Cups and four play-off titles – before quitting to move to Germany.
He will take over from Gary Graham, who was sacked on Tuesday after a poor start to his first season in charge. Neilson (above) said: “I want things to be better. I love the Nottingham Panthers, I always have – ever since I walked through the door.
“I think this is a great opportunity to take some positive strides.”
