Let there be light Heavenly art project transforms cathedral
AN awe-inspiring light projection bathes Peterborough Cathedral in an otherworldly beauty.
The snaps were taken on the opening night of The Beginning, a spectacular sound-and-light show.
Visitors were greeted by a giant light projection on the front of the medieval structure in Cambridgeshire.
Inside was an equally impressive installation, the display accompanied by music from composer David Harper. Creators Luxmuralis say the show is inspired by Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
Based around the Nativity, The Beginning runs until tomorrow in Peterborough but there are more shows in Sheffield, Liverpool and Winchester next month.
