SUITS YOU, RISHI

Rishi Sunak must be a fan of Norman Wisdom, sartorially, at any rate.

His arms hang out of his suit sleeves, and his trousers barely reach his ankles.

He hasn’t got the silly Norman hat with the upturned brim yet, not in public at any rate.

Perhaps he wears that watching old Wisdom movies in the privacy of Number Ten.

I had a suit like that, once, “made to measure” by a tailor in Singapore. It showed more than it covered.

When I tried it on at home, Mrs R laughed her socks off, or would have done, had she been wearing any in the tropical heat. I wore it once, and it didn’t return to England when I came back. Sunak should have stiff words with his tailor.
