The Chase’s Anne Hegerty has displayed an enviable skill in backhanded compliments this week.
Just see what she said when asked how host Bradley Walsh would fare as a contestant on the show:
“I think he’d be quite good,” she began.
Good start.
“He’s not remotely as dumb as you think he is.” Oh.
So, in honour of Bradley’s other quiz show, I invite you, dear reader, to fill in this Blankety Blank... “After much thought, Bradley has decided to give Anne the –––– this Christmas.”
